As a member of the Complex Litigation Group, Sarah focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation disputes including insurance and reinsurance coverage, mass torts, contract disputes, and class actions. She has experience taking depositions and preparing for and assisting with arbitration hearings, including cross-examining a fact witness. She regularly drafts various pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses. Sarah is an observant, meticulous attorney who works toward collaborative solutions to her clients’ issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Sarah was a judicial extern for Honorable Franklin U. Valderrama in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division. As an extern, she attended court calls and trials. She also reviewed briefs for various motions and drafted issued orders.

Pro Bono Activities
Sarah obtained orders vacating all prior criminal charges for a sex trafficking victim under the Victims of Sex Trafficking Act. Sarah also represented an inmate in a Section 1983 claim for failure to provide adequate medical treatment and unconstitutional confinement conditions.
